I look at these photos and remember how frigid it was outside. We took these December 2016 in Dillion, Colorado and up on Loveland Pass. The wind picked up and I think it was 3 degrees. It was downright COLD, but you can’t tell from the photos, can you? And you know what? I’d do it again in a heartbeat. This is Daylene. She’s a badass photographer that I have known for yearssss. I have helped her shoot weddings across the country and outside of it. We spent countless hours working together and I knew as soon as she found out she was preggo I would be the one to photograph her maternity photos. I remember the wedding where she told me she thought she might be pregnant, the wedding weekend in Telluride where she felt the first kicks, and I was there all the way through her last wedding in December (she gave birth in January). Women, they are strong and amazing. It was fun to be on her journey through pregnancy with her.
